Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer at ProfessorMe, Kate is an academic, entrepreneur and former journalist specializing in academic training and coaching. She is passionate about education, empowerment and entrepreneurship. In addition to a PhD in International Relations from the University of St Andrews in the UK, she holds a Nieman Fellowship from Harvard University and a Visiting Fellowship from Yale University. She has over 20 years experience as an international academic. Kate has successfully worked with thousands of students and hundreds of faculty members. 

Daisy is a Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at ProfessorMe. She appreciates the importance of understanding and navigating Higher Education. She has a Master of the Fine Arts Degree (MFA) from the University of Edinburgh and a First Class Honours Degree in the Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Dundee. Daisy is responsible for the creative side of ProfessorMe. As a creative, she feels passionately about making education and learning accessible for those who struggle to learn the 'conventional way’.

Ben is Chief Academic Officer at ProfessorMe. Ben is a former head of a large academic department in Social Sciences, Media and Journalism. He has 20 years experience in academic leadership, learning and teaching and quality. Ben is a Fellow of Advance HE, his PhD is in the Political Economy of International Journalism from GCU and he gained an MA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Aberdeen. He is an experienced teacher, supervisor and researcher. Ben produces and manages academic content for ProfessorMe.

Lucy is an Academic Content Officer at ProfessorMe. She is an experienced postgraduate student academic developer, lecturer and researcher. Lucy has a PhD and an MLitt in English Literature from the University of St. Andrews and a postgraduate qualification in Online and Distance Learning. As well as experience as an Effective Learning Advisor, Lucy has also worked as a Specialist Student Mentor. Lucy writes academic content for ProfessorMe, including scripts, slide decks and other content.

Milly is the Digital Marketing Officer at ProfessorMe. She has a Masters in Marketing with Digital Strategy from Edinburgh Napier University and a degree in History from Dundee University. Milly’s professional background spans sales, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication in the fintech sector. Milly’s role at ProfessorMe is to develop our Digital Marketing Strategy and execute our social media marketing and other digital marketing activities, working alongside our Campus Marketing staff. This role includes video and audio production, working on the press campaigns, and product development.

Gill is the International Education Officer at ProfessorMe. She has more than 15 years teaching experience in the UK and Cayman Islands. Gill also worked for international NGOs in Italy and Myanmar. Her passion lies in helping disadvantaged young people access quality education and advocating for marginalised communities. She has a degree in Education from the University of Glasgow and a background in international campaigning. She is focused on global resources and partnerships.

Scarlett is a recent graduate with an MA Modern and 21st Century Literature from the University of Durham. She is a Content and Media Officer at ProfessorMe. Scarlett took part in our internship programme and has returned to enrich our products with her insight and understanding of the student experience.
